Most Improved Reader

I am so proud of Caden. The poor kid struggled with reading at the beginning of 1st grade (this year). His awesome teacher, Mrs. Howard decided he needed to go see the school reading tutor, Mrs. Hammer, everyday for some help. He has been doing this now since school started in September. Mrs. Hammer called us today and said that she had to pick 2 kids out of the whole school to recieve "the most improved reader award" and Caden was one of them!! Every school in the district gets to pick only 2 kids! We are so proud of our little reader! He is doing so great now. He is totally caught up to the rest of his class and he won't have to see Mrs. Hammer in second grade (although it would be okay because she is such a great tutor.) He got a certificate (it says "most accomplished reader") and got to pick $20 worth of books at the little book fair! We are so glad we took care of this problem now. I have a strong Testimony of tutors (and parents!!) Way to go Caden!
