our first ER visit

Look at my cute boy...before..during...(look at his tooth hanging out)
and after...

Oh, his perfect teeth are gone...for the next 3-4 years that is!! What a story; it all happened on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. We had just gone to dinner as a family and had stopped by Diane and Tylers to give Owen and Trey their birthday presents. We weren't there but 5 minutes and Carson came running up the stairs BAWLING. He was bleeding out of his mouth everywhere. I was fine. I saw his lip and thought, "oh, he's going to need stitches on that one." Then, after emptying out his mouth full of blood, I saw his 2 poor teeth, hanging by the roots. That was when mom had to duck out because I can't stand teeth and when you see your babies teeth hanging out of his mouth, it's just not a pretty picture ( I know, many of you have seen much, much worse). Anyway, Steve and Di had to take over from here. It was 6:30 at night; we were in a panic and didn't know where to go or who to call. I was running around frantic and the next thing I know, Diane is calmly on the phone with her neighbor who is a dentist. We left all the kids with Caden and ran to the dentists house who told us to go to the ER. Steve and I headed straight up to McKay Dee. I want you to know that priesthood blessings work while driving in the car without seatbelts and while speeding!!! Carson got sedated and once again, I had to leave the room. I would have been fine for the stitches, but not for pulling the rest of his teeth out. Luckily, Steve was fine and stayed in the room with him. This cute grandpa and his daughter were there because their mom had fallen and broke her hip. They were so nice and gave me lots of hugs! I was very grateful.
All is well now! All the drugs he had put in him helped him sleep all night long. He was a little out of it the next morning until Caden and Halle came home from G & G's and then he was back to his happy, hyper self. Thanks mom and dad for letting the kids sleep over and thank you Talbots for letting us just leave Caden and Halle with you. Sorry about your carpet!!

She's here...

my little sisters 1st baby is here...2 weeks early!! Little Sadie was born on November 11th and is doing great! I was lucky enough to be sitting right outside Heathers room (the door was open) when we heard Sadies first little cries!! She is so beautiful and my kids are loving on her every time they see her, which has pretty much been every day! We were lucky enough to babysit her today so Craig and Heather could take a lunch and shopping break. I have to admit, she is so yummy but I am happy to love on her and give her back! I hope I start to get baby hungry soon...May will be here before we know it!!

Baby #4

We are so happy to announce that our baby #4 is on the way!! We figured since Carson will be 4 in January, it's probably time to try once again!! We are due in May so we should be moved in and settled in our new house, which will be great! The last time I was pregnant I was 25. This time I am almost 30 and feeling it. I have been a little nauseous but mostly exhausted! I am definitely feeling old!!
Steve was in Albuquerque for work on my day 14, so after a quick plane ride and an overnighter with my hubby, this post has been made possible. We were thinking of naming it Allie or Albert!! What do you think?

Halloween Fun

I can't believe Halloween is over...and has been for a few weeks now. I couldn't pass on putting in our fall and Halloween pictures!! Black Island Farms! Fun Family Night! We left going to the pumpkin patch till the very last minute and as a result, had to go on one of the coldest days of the year!! Caden and Carson were fine, but Halle is a girly girl and froze to death. And yes, Carson is wearing a Bob the Builder costume and a cowboy hat...it was a dress up day!

Last year I went down the BIG slide, this year it was Dads turn!! Good Times!!

Halloween Night! A cute witch, Megatron, and Spidey!!
I just loved Halles witch costume. I got it from a cute little store in Bountiful called "All Tucked In". If you're ever on Main Street in Bountiful, check it out.

It's Coming Along...

Julie B. - this post is for you, baby!
We are getting so excited to move into our new house. Granted, we still have 2 months or so, but it is coming along great and really starting to look and feel like our home!
I especially love the dumpster and "Honey Bucket" in the front yard
Entry Staircase (will be painted white)
Master tub
Basement
Theater
View of the Family Room from the Upstairs Loft
Pool
Back Patio
Basketball Court
They still have a long way to go, but most decisions have been made and most everything has been picked out. They are starting to paint and finishing up concrete (weather permitting) All is well!!!

Witchapalooza!

One of my favorite things to do around Halloween time, is go see the fun witches at Gardner Village. My kids had early out last week for PT Conferences, so we drove down and did the petting zoo and pony rides, walked around and saw the witches and had some hot chocolate and cookies! What a fun afternoon.

Halle is such an animal lover! Her brothers were a little nervous to touch the animals, but she jumped right in and made friends with all of them!
You can see, Carsons a little nervous!!
Poor Caden couldn't decide if he wanted to stay home and play football with his friends or come with us. He decided to stay home and play. I got to Farmington and he called me crying, "I changed my mind, I want to come with you." So, needless to say, we drove back and got him and he had a great time. I know, sitting on the horse, he's looking at me like "mom, seriously, do you HAVE to take a picture!!"
Halle loved it and Carson refused to ride the ponies! Strange kid!
